Rederi AB Donsötank is a family company registered in 1953, and since then the business has grown and more vessels has been acquired. Donsötank has a long tradition of shipping, from the beginning of the 19th century. The experience trough generations has made Donsötank an innovative and reliable partner in shipping.
The company owns and operates one bulk carrier and five tankers and has around 150 employees at sea, and nine at the office. Donsötank is building one Tanker Excello at Shanghai Edward Shipyard, delivery in April 2008.
Broström Tankers are the commercial operator for the tankers in our fleet. Broström Tankers is one of the leading logistic operators of oil products in Europe. Broströms are also part owners in some of these vessels to build the connections between the two parties stronger.
In 2004 Donsötank started to cooperate with ESL shipping in Finland. ESL shipping is a leading logistic operator for dry bulk in the Baltic sea. Donsötank has together with ESL ordered a super ice classed general cargo carrier, Credo, now trading in the Baltic Sea.
